About Full Circle

Full Circle Wellness LLC

Tessa Trask, MA LPC (she/her/hers) I graduated with my Masters in Clinical Psychology from the Citadel Graduate College in 2015. Since then, I have been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of South Carolina (#6942.) I had the privilege of spending my first three years in practice working with survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and childhood abuse at a non-profit organization in Beaufort, South Carolina. I’m passionate about helping clients work through their trauma histories to find peace, healing and balance in their lives today.

I have experience in working with clients of all ages, races, genders and sexual orientations struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, grief and transitions. I also enjoy helping students and young adults manage stress, make big decisions, and develop a sense of self. My approach to treatment is intuitive, person-centered, eclectic and collaborative. My main priority is the establishment of a warm and trusting working relationship with my clients, providing a safe space to do the work they need to heal, grow and thrive.

Rooted in a foundation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I utilize evidence based trauma treatment modalities like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) balanced with elements of mindfulness practice, education and radical compassion to help support clients along their healing journeys.

Why Full Circle?

The circle shape has a lot of meaning to me personally as well as universally. The circle is known to represent the ever present cycles we see in nature, like the phases of moon and tides. Every day in the Lowcountry, our tides cycle in and out, the marshes, rivers and creeks emptying themselves and filling back up again. Every month, we watch the cycle of the moon as it waxes and wanes. Like the moon, the circle represents transformation, wholeness, totality and the infinite. It also represents the self.

I believe that the self is always whole. Nothing about us can be “broken”, so there is nothing to “fix”. I believe we each already possess the deep, innate wisdom we need within to heal and find peace in the here and now. To come full circle, we need to look inward.
